FAQ
How can I download the scans after purchase?
Purchased scans can be downloaded as compressed zip files in the downloads section of your account. If you don't have an account they can be downloaded directly from the order confirmation page after completing the order. You will also get an email with a download link. It is recommended to keep that email, you can use it to download the scans up to 5 times.
Can I download a scan multiple times after purchase?
Yes, purchased scans can be downloaded up to 5 times.
Do I have to create an account to buy scans?
No, you can buy scans without creating an account. However to be able to pay with credits you will need an account. Having an account also makes it easy to manage your purchased scans and invoices.
How do I get an invoice if I need it?
An invoice can be downloaded from the orders section of your account. If you don't have an account you can download it directly from the order confirmation page after completing the order.
What file formats are included?
All scans come with an obj, fbx and Cinema 4D file (with Corona materials). Some of the scans also contain a Cinema 4D file with C4D standard materials. This information can be found in the product description of each scan.
Which texture maps are included?
For every scan a diffuse map (png), a glossiness and roughness map (png), a normal map (tiff) and a displacement map (exr) is included. Scans with different values of subsurface scattering in one model (e.g. lemon half with different values for the pulp and skin) also come with a mask for SSS strength and if needed also SSS radius. This information can be found in the product description as well.
How do I set up the materials if I use the obj or fbx file?
In the list below you'll find the texture maps and common names of the material channels where you need to add them. We also added the color space (linear or sRGB). If you need further assistance just drop us a line.
